There are a million things I should be working on besides drawing the Doctor in a very silly hat. But... I just... couldn't... help myself.Way to rain on the ridiculous hat parade Amy, GEEZE. Although he looks a lot less silly than I thought he would. I mean, the hat is RIDICULOUS. But he kind of pulls it off.
Like a lost member of an underfunded mariachi band.
Also - dude Matt Smith has a weird face(that i'm now a little in love with). I kindof obsessed over it, and it still doesn't look right.
Aaaaand.... because i have to say it OMG SATURDAY NEW EPISODEfffffffft.

Is Matt Smith a good Doctor? I've never watched him (I'm still loyal to ol' Tenno), but I was thinking of giving him a try, since Neil Gaiman is writing an ep :3

I love eleven, but then I love all the doctors I've seen so far, they're just each a little different. I read/heard something David tennant said about leaving the show and the angst everyone was having about no one being able to live up to him, it was basically along the lines of 'two or three episodes in and you'll think HE'S the best Doctor you've ever seen'. And it's kinda true, my fave Doctor is whichever I've been watching most recently.

I think it's a bit like James Bond - in my case, the first one you see is the best. Pierce Brosnan WAS Bond for me - I've only seen a bit of Daniel Craig, and he isn't my cup of tea. I even prefer Pierce over Connery, though I know that's practically blasphemy
Actually, Eccleston is my favourite Doctor. His acting sold me - the first episode I saw was the second one of the first (new) season, when that lady-plant-alien found out he was the last Time Lord and said 'I'm so sorry', and he silently cried... lordy...
That was pretty much my reaction when Eccleston left - I was angsty for maybe half an episode, heh!It took me a while to get to like Tenno (now I luvs him), and it will take me a while to like Smith. With any luck, my admiration of Neil will help me out - his ep sounds fantastic

I kind of cooled off the series a bit around the time I found out Tennant was leaving - I didn't watch the specials. I do mean to get back into it one day - it used to be my all-time favourite show. For the time being, I've switched to Sherlock, another Moffat series, so I'm not a complete traitor
I think the bow tie makes me wary - it's just so painfully naff :/
