I never finished the Genocide Run. When Sans fell asleep and I was able to move... I chickened out and reset the game! AND MY ONLY REGRET IS NOT DOING THAT SOONER!!!!

I tried it once but failed, and I had nightmares about it ;_;

Nah I never had nightmares with Sans. I had nightmares with Chara :C
After trying genocide and failing because I left some enemies alive by mistake, I quit, and then that night I had a nightmare that I completed pacifist and then Chara possessed me and I knew that they were going to kill everyone, and I was like "but why?? I didn't complete genocide!! you can't do this!!" but Chara told me something like "Haha, really? We both know you are not innocent" and they were right, because even if it was my brother who killed almost all the enemies (because I didn't want to do genocide, he convinced me, and I dodged while he attacked), I did kill one monster that my brother couldn't: Undyne (plus I agreed with my brother, which is like helping him kill the others too), so I was not innocent anymore. I felt SO GUILTY. Then, still inside the nightmare, I reset over and over, doing things slightly different to get to the pacifist ending, but always getting the same result: Chara possessed me. I never saw in the nightmare how they killed everyone, but I knew they were going to do it, and I really REALLY felt so bad about it. It felt as if the characters of Undertale really were my family. And it was all my fault that they were going to die.Β So, yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm never ever going to do the genocide route.
