I do always enjoy scenes of heroines just taking some time to chat and do normal things. I'm so used to sweary Damnsel that it's rather nice to see her having a friendly conversation

Because Zoe is a coffee addict. And, if I remember, Damnsel is not a fan of alcohol because of what happened to her parents.
Besides, those bottles could be flavor syrups for coffee beverages.

Wouldn't call them opposites. Zoe's just a little more cheerful when dealing with bad people. She giggles when she hacks their bank accounts, she chuckles as she kicks certain bad guys in the crotch at 25 CK/S (that's 25 crotch kicks a second with her mega speed), and she laughs maniacally as she shocks criminals with her electrical bolts (not quite lethal, but it's right up there with tazers and cattle prods).

Zoe was originally created as an NPC by and was crazy enough to let me use her in any way I wanted...wait, that didn't sound right.
