It’s winter for us crazy north hemisphere folk, so it seems like a good time to say that yes, the elves of Amaranth get cold, too. Above is a demonstration on how they can stay warm in colder times and climates.

That is a very nice cloak, but she should be careful not to wear it too snugly around herself or it might become a skimpy corset or something. It happened with chainmail, who's to say it won't happen with a nice cloak?

Well, remember where I am. It was maybe an inch to two inches of snow, tops, and I was wearing long sweatpants that covered my feet. The flipflops were the thick kind, and kept my feet off the snow, and the sweats kept the cold air off my feet.
See? Not crazy.

I grew up in the northernmost major city in North America and that is so far from practical for cold weather it's funny.
