Contest entry for Spring 2018 Art and Writing ContestOkay, enough with the polls, it's time to get off my butt and on with this.
As indicated by a series of polls I've run, I'm going to host a Deviant Art contest for both art and writing. Given the substantial differences between the two art forms, I will be judging them separately and awarding prizes for each. And as also indicated by the polls, I'll be judging them myself. More on the criteria below.
THEME
The poll here was pretty overwhelming: You wanted to see one of my original characters along with another DA OC. So in both contests, that is the underlying requirement. You can choose from any of my OCs, including villains. And you have the vast array of DA OCs to team them with. Of course you can use your own OC, but if you want to use someone else's, just make sure you get permission from the character's owner first. Also remember that the two characters must be featured prominently in the story or artwork.
RULES, featuring 's Duster with the lovely Fantasma and the less lovely Carl Hog. I've got a story sort of the in the works for this, but it's honestly going pretty rough and I don't know how it'll turn out. In any case, here's a possible scene from it. Hog's got himself nifty sci-fi tech to not just nullify superpowers, but also to suppress them at whatever level he desires. Thanks to this amazing tech, Duster's on fan duty.
