Description The idea behind this is that Batman snapped and became one of the worst supervillains the world had ever seen, and Superman and Wonder Woman finally stopped him.
This is my response to comments I've seen about how Superman would go nuts and take over the world with only Batman to stop him. Sorry, guys, but I really think Bruce is closer to snapping than Clark Kent/Kal-El ever will be.

Made in Garry's Mod. Let me know if you want any of the models.

I heard that Supes once gave him some kryptonite in case he ever lost his mind, based one two things:
1) Batman wouldn't use it until all other options had failed
2) Batman would actually use it if necessary.

I'll be the first to admit to being a Batman fan (a bat-fan?), but I'll also be the first to admit that when he's at his worst, he's exactly one step away from pulling something like this. Very nice.

I think having Batman as a flawed character that's teetering on the edge is part of what makes him interesting. For the longest time, I tried justifying him not ever killing the Joker, but now I think the point is that he's not necessarily making the best decision for Gotham by letting Joker live, but he's making the best one for himself.

Yeah they even explained it near the climax in Under The Red Hood

I'll agree with that.

I've always found it funny they like to make Batman as this paragon when it is clear he is psychologically so affected by his parents death he has become obsessed with crime etc that he has no real normal life and keeps himself isolated from intimacy etc. So yeah I could see a story where he could go crazy too.

I just hate when Batman's portrayed as always being right, particularly in the DCAU. Bruce Timm has such an obvious crush on Batman and sometimes it hurts other characters.

good idea but i still believe that Superman would go mental, all that power from nowhere would drive anyone mad

Thing is, he's grown up with that power and developed his character through his adopted parents' influence. He's used to that power and responsibility, and heck, in some versions, his power develops over time and he adapts to it.

yeah but the main version he falls out of his pod and crashes to Earth without it completely unharmed having near his full power as a mere toddler, it's one of the reasons i hate Superman actually, most heroes had to either earn their powers, get them by accident or hone their bodies to superhuman level

Superman was just *crashes to Earth* "I AM THE GREATEST BEING ALIVE! ALL NERDS WORSHIP ME NOW!!!"

Well, Supes also fights aliens and other beings, some of which are stronger than he is. Heck, I hear he's actually learned martial arts and whatnot from Batman and Wonder Woman since he knows he can't simply overpower some of these beings like he can with any normal human criminal.

Honestly, though, my interest in Superman lies more with his personality and morality than his powers.

yeah, i just don't like how people think he's the ultimate just cos he's Superman

by logic Hulk is stronger and Mr.Manhattan could kill Superman in a second by turning his very atoms to oxygen

Bats survived his parent's death right in front of him and his protege's being crippled and killed and has held back from crossing over to the dark side still. He knows how to deal with the pain.

Still it would be a terrifying thought if he were to be controlled by a villain and turned evil.

Don't get me wrong, I love Batman. I think he's a great character.
I've just seen a lot of "Batgod" portrayals of him where he's always right, no matter the situation.

I don't got you wrong. I can understand how given the circumstances anyone who would've endured the things Batman has would've snapped long ago, but I guess that's just a key strength of his character being his mental willpower which makes even those closest to him question whether or not he is human or has a heart so to speak. He's just good at burying and shutting away the pain.

I'd like to see Batman go bad. He already has money and power, so I'm not sure what his motivation would be...

Honestly, it'd probably be a control thing. You could easily turn Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns Batman into a villain.

Batman going dark is a truly terrifying thought, besides all of his contingency plans, training, and resources, the Bat can be a really cold dude when he wants to. Im guessing ppl have Supes go dark because at heart he's still an alien and Wonder Woman isn't exactly human either, but watever, Great Work!

Batman as a villain would be scarier than Lex Luthor, I think.

And that's why we have the likes of Owlman; so Batman won't have to go evil.
