You know, maybe heroes should continue trying to reason with villains. Some of them may surprise you.For the record, I liked Batman v Superman, but even I can't resist a Martha joke.

Heh, after reading this, I laughed. Though I could imagine Jenny Kilmarten (Zoe's mom), giving Domme advice. And no, it wouldn't be to give up crime, ironically. It would be more along the lines of: "Those voices you hear, belonging to those who looked down on you, telling you are nothing and will always be nothing...fuck 'em, they don't matter. They were failures who want you to fail, but it's your life, YOU control your life, YOU make the final decisions; and those voices from your past still tearing you down are still losers, they're gone but you're still here and still standing...they were weak, you aren't."
If you want an idea what Zoe's mom is like, think something along the lines of "Lady Heather" from CSI.

hahaha that devil psychologist! As much as I like the 'Martha' twist in BvS (its such a random longshot that 'works') it does make for some funny jokes. I can completely imagine moms saying 'YOU CAN'T DO THIS!' leading to all sorts of trauma -_-
As an aside, how did you get multiple images in the same deviation? Is it a core feature? The last time I wanted to put my comic together for easy reading, I had to use a journal entry which ends up looking like a text wall instead of a comic
Vladi the Wizard vs Supergirl in The GiftFinished my first 'comic' of sorts. I'm usually a single scene person, often losing focus the longer something draws out. But this time, I decided to try something I haven't done before. So... I story-boarded (?) the whole sequence. While scripting (I have no clue if that is the 'official' term) it, there were too many references and gags to pass up on. One of the bigger challenges I faced was keeping lighting and camera angle consistent vis-a-vis the position of the character. This is not something you bother with for a single scene, but when you want to layout a characters reaction and subsequent interaction, I found I messed up a few panels. Lesson learned!
I did not like the reading experience in the gallery (maybe I'm doing something wrong there), so I thought I'd put all the panels on a single page for easier reading.

With this comic, I used ComicLife 3 for all the pages in one project, and then exported the whole project as one PDF. That's why I could upload it like this.

Interesting that your other supervillain with mommy issues also has a heroine yelling at him that he "can't do this!"
The setup and punchline were great, of course, and definitely not the direction I was expecting it to go when you gave us that preview. 
Also, I hope our diabolic psychiatrist becomes a recurring character. That concept could go places.
