Finally!!!Cão Magazine #3 was launched! Now I can post something from it! The pages I'm posting here represents my part of the story, the gran finale. This story tells us about a girl tired of her sad life and the way she handle this problem... killing everybody with a wave of terror spreaded by her minons: ZOMBIES!!!!
It's totally "Trash movie" like and the fans of zombies will love the story! I hope you like my drawings too!!
This time I've had a help of my cousin Alexandre Manzano doin' the gray tones. Like the previous issue of Cão, the grayscale print limits us to this kind of rendering.
I believe the guys from will post other arts from the other artists and if you want to know more about the story, Cão magazine or Studiovermis, just let me know!
Like the other pages I used Bic Pen (yes, the cheapest pen you can find around but the best to make the style I wanted) to make the traces of everything but Felícia, the protagonist. You'll notice that she's traced with nankin and a more smoother rendering than the rest of the illustration. For it I used mechanical pencils and Photoshop. The rendering of the rest of the pages was done with Photoshop too. I wanted to make her more "divine" at the looks of reader to represent her new state after her transformation. Now she is livin' the way she wants and the rest of the world seems like "corrupted" in some way to her.

Valeu mesmo! Na verdade não. Foi usado um layer de textura no photoshop pra causar esse efeito na renderização. A única coisa que eu usei grafite foi pra fazer a renderização da personagem principal que, ironicamente, é a única que prece não ter sido feito a lá
