The protector of nature vs the abomination of nature... man, I'd love to see these two fight! As for who would win... that's tough. It could go either way. If Shin figured out that 2014's gills are a weak spot, he could fire his Atomic Breath there and 2014 would be critically injured at best. However, if 2014 predicts that and dodges, and Shin exhausts his energy, then 2014 has a chance. And if 2014 managed to pull the same maneouvre on Shin that he used against FeMUTO, where he forces Shin's jaws apart and breathes atomic fire right down Shin's throat, chances are Shin would go into meltdown and die anyway. So it all depends on the opening of the battle, IMO: Shin has the early advantage but if that advantage is wasted, 2014 gains the upper hand.

Hmm if the battle is quick shin would win, due to having the ability of using a crud ton of energy at once, but if the battle is time consuming, he could go into cool down mode, giving legendary the opportunity. I'd say it's a tie

Personally think that 2014 will win since he looks more combat oriented. With Shin, he is very destructive, but that's it. The scene with the atomic breath was amazing, but it actually looks like it needs time before it can come out. With 2014, it looked faster and it really does feel like he is meant to fight other giant monsters. With Shin, he was meant to be a destroyer of cities and all, but we have yet to see if he is can fight other monsters in future movies.

I agree with you. Shin Gojira had an impressive offensive Atomic Ray, but with a 2 week recharge that's a HUGE drawback. It leaves Shin vulnerable to monsters that can withstand his assault. Legendary Gojira is a battleship, it can tank a LOT (heck, it survived a point blank ranged 15 megaton nuke in the 50s while Shin was wounded be a penetrator bomb). Legendary Gojira would take damage from Shin's assault, but would survive. With Shin out cold for 2 weeks, he's easy to kill from a pissed Legendary Gojira.

Thanks for your opinion. I personally just think that Shin is not really a fighter, but more of a destroyer while the regular Godzilla is capable of fighting.
