All right, so i got bored and REALLY REALLY wanted to draw old Cap. Unfortunately, I felt like I wouldn't be able to draw him as recognizably as I pictured in my head, so I came up with this exercise I basically did what you see above, I started with a photograph, then sketched on top. At each step I removed one layer so I was only working with two at a time(The one I had just drawn and the one I was drawing in). And because my normal style is very anime/manga/cartoony, that's what I ended up with For any art students that want practice with photo realism, I suggest this exercise. It really helped me Not to mention it was fun
