These are sketches I did this month (November) while I *should* have been focusing on my Art History lecture. I wish I had sketches from other months to put up, but I guess I disliked all my doodles before this month so much that I never wanted to finish them.So this is my progress since I started being an art student.
This sketch of Cassius, my character (kitten of Quaxo/Victoria) on NJG, is the most recent, from this past Tuesday, and I quite like him... even if his torso is a bit wonky. <3
Next to him, Charlotte, kitten if Cassandra and Mistoffelees, is looking pretty haughty, which suits her.
EEE! It's a Snape! Just a quick little doodle I did while anticipating DH1. It was my first time trying to draw him at all, so I'm pretty pleased.
Annnnnnnnnd the first one I did this month, Carbucketty, who I think looks perfectly cheeky.
My Wacom pen is in desperate need of a new nib, so I haven't been able to do anything digitally for a while.... but I'm hoping that'll change this weekend! I plan on re-doing these guys once I get that rolling.

Well, I've been in a drawing class every Tuesday and Thursday since August, so that's helped a LOT, and we started figure drawing two weeks ago... so we've been drawing nude models, hands, feet, and portraits. Sooooooo that also has helped me a ton.
I'm finally managing to develop a style that feels natural, so that's extremely exciting for me.
