Hello there. Something I did a few weeks ago, slowly buying all these lovely things like fans and also buying a couple of masks aswell so I am experimenting with trying to capture a few photos of just the eyes and up.

I somehow managed to delete my old copy of this photo (with the copyright on it) and it reverted to a version with no copyright on it that I am using for prints 
. So am uploading with new © version

I accept your apology. I'm not very good at articulating why cultural appropriation is bad. generally the idea is that it's unjust to take pieces of other cultures (in this case, east asian culture) for your own social or economic gain and use it however you please, since you never actually have to grapple with the consequences of being Asian yourself. And being from the dominant culture/race means you have an advantage over people of color in terms of social/economic gains. For example you sold this as a print at some point, and because you're white, people are more likely to buy/prefer your print over a similar print with an Asian subject. I'm sure you didn't do this out of malice, but that's still what happens.
