Description
Trying to build up a coloring portfolio for my Marvel submissions. So I decided to color some pages from my fav comic seires ; Marvel Comic's Cable Deadpool.I found these pages from issue #41 ,and since I felt Gotham's coloring style doesnt fit Mr. Browns style I went ahead and cel colored the charcters.
Here is page 10, from Cable & Deadpool.
Penciled by Mr. Riley Brown, and inked by Jeremy Freeman.
I got some advice on what I had done and ended up with this. I was planning on doing more pages but I got hooked in the to great Awesome Storm Justice 41 project and am currently working on that.

Quick question,how do you submit artwork to marvel?

Go to the marvel.com website.
Scroll to the bottom of the home page.
There is a section that says company.
Now click on Marvel Corporate Information.
On the left of that page they have a Careers section. Under that are 2 links; Job Listings and Internships. Click job listings.
On this new page there is a bar that says career areas. Place your curser over this and a list will appear. Move your curser over creative and another box opens up. In that box you get the Job Categories listings . Animation Creative (Artists / Designers) Production & Programming.
Since they merged with Disney this is way diffrent than when I sent mine. Then all I did was find a e-mail and attach my work to it. It was not this complex.

I like the cleanliness of the cell-shaded style that you used to color it. The glow from the flashlight is a bit overbearing in some places, particularly in places where it's reflecting, like in panel 4. Even so, the coloring is clear as opposed to muddy, and does a good job of working with the line work, rather than trying to overpower it.

I'm doing sample comic pages, and coloring an internet comic for my portfolio.
That way I can try to get work for comics.
I'm also doing voices for radio plays.
That and I'm playing War Hawk a lot.

That's all I've seen her do is join the 6pack, and worked as a merc.

Those are some pretty clean colors, but I'm not sure I like the fuzziness of the light from the flashlight. It takes away from the sharpness of the cell shading which you did very nicely.

I do the lighting for atmosphere.Someone has already shown me a better way of going about lighting. I'll try to use what I have learned from this page in the future.

Not always draw the best, or colored, or that ground breaking when it comes to writing....
