Yeah I know its the exact opposite of what some other people have told you. (Saw the responses to the colored version) so it really is just a matter of taste.

I really do think I might of over did it on the abs when I colored them in the other picture.
Here I was trying to just make her toned.
Really just the bottom of the rib cage and a cress in the skin from the turn at the waist.
I'm trying to go really Jim Lee with my comic art so I was looking at some women he had drawn. Mainly Pyslock. I wanted to make the younger teen Jubilee at first.When I saw how I drew her proportions and how they where accented from the angle I had to make her in her later teens.
The adulecent Jubilee is fun, but those high shorts are not really the in thing at the momment. So I went with the design they usded in the X-men Legends game. I kept the Jim Lee shades though, because I liked how easier they are to draw.

Yeah really when I draw her I usually duck the shorts and gloves. Its great composition and no one in their right mind would care that you mix and matched the apparel. I do like Jim Lee, read Gen 13 and some of Wildcats/Deathblow/Grifter. thats a high quality Jim Lee face but I cant say that I remember how he drew chick abs well enough to say whether you hit or missed, all I can say is that she must be taking a really deep breath for the sternum to be propping out like that Jim Lee or no Jim Lee. Id suggest breaking that whole crescent up into diagonal lines like the abs proper below it. Id move that cavity under the left side of the jacket to the pant line to emphasize the hip huggers as well.
Anyways I'm not trying to tear you down or anything anyone can tell at a first glance that your better at this then I am and it is a great picture all the same.

Kind of, they have given her a bit of depth over the years. I still dont think that she is a stand alone charcter.
She is fun, and that counts.
