Description
This is my take on Marvel comic's Scarlet Spider.
This is my submission for
A key element of the charter's original design were is colors, and sleeveless blue hoodie with the black spider emblem on it.
So to keep the movement when he swings through the sky I added a hooded coat inspired by Assassin's Creed.
I also changed things up from the spandex, by giving him baggy pants.
The only down side for the character would be that he can't wear it under his everyday clothing.
Still I really like this look, and wouldn't mind wearing it myself.

Something interesting about this is the way I colored it.
I am not that great at picking what colors to shade, and hi lite with. My sense of value is garbage.
So I used 2 shades of grey.
On one the shaded layer I used the darker grey and set it to multiply.
On the hi lite layer I used the lighter grey and set it to vivid.
Next I took the hi lite layer and put it over the line work, and added a gaussian.
I then set the layer to pin light, and set it to 50%
