Been a pretty unproductive few weeks, so here's a horrible pun.
Seriously, THIS THING, THIS BLOODY THING! This stupid joke was in my head for YEARS. Ever since I started to learn japanese. AND NOW YOU WILL ALL SUFFER TOO! WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN CANNOT BE UNSEEN!!

If you know other Japenese-to-English puns, this could be a miniseries on its own. Oda has made it abudantly clear that he is fond of puns himself, so it would fit into the spirit of One Piece itself.

I've studied a bit of japanese, but I don't know too many puns. I did one in the "Nami's Interview" comic as soon as I learned that "Zako" meant "Smallfry/Weaking". That was perfect.
Also somebodies informed me that "Shi" means death. Gives Luffy's "Shishishi" laugh a whoooole knew meaning.
