The final project for my digital art class was to make a picture to illustrate one of a number of options that the instructor gave us. The options were suppose to depict a verity of different cultural and ethical influences. One of the options was the use of facial recognition software, so I chose to mock facial recognitions tendency to try to identify people that are not people. I was inspired by a picture that someone took of a plate of happy face cookies that some social media site was trying to get a user to identify. So the girl has obscured her face with cat ear headphones (which is a real thing by the way) and an impressively blown bubble. Now would that fool facial recognition? I don't know, but the joke was meant to be that the facial recognition focused on her tattoo rather than her face.
