After being captured by Deadshot and Task Force X, Blackfire is then sent to Belle Reve Penitentiary. After getting the Task Force X, branding on her neck, with compliments with a bomb being added, she is met by Amanda Waller, one of DC's most powerful players, to rival that of Batman. All human, but plenty of brain to spare, and the will to carry out and execute the most necessary plans. Blackfire didn't know that her actions were even on Waller's radar, but with the X on the back of her neck, she is now realizing the shit she is in.

Amanda Waller: I suppose I don't need to introduce myself to you then, "your magesty."

Blackfire: Don't you dare talk down to me, Waller. Despite the bomb you put in my neck, I can still take you down before you even press the button

Amanda Waller: I'm fully aware. But you should know you're not dealing with a bunch of idealistic kids, you're dealing with me. Join the squad, or die. It's your choice.
