Description
Eyes rest on the mirror.A glimpse requires an adjustment,
A tweak to the appearance;
An alteration to character.
Slowly the impression takes shape.
An image molded over time,
A mask delicately fixed in place;
A role develops into reality.
Soon time has slipped away.
A thought comes rushing in,
A desire to remove the mask;
A need for its fracture.
Reality cannot be reversed.
A truth dictated in pain,
A point clear in the reflection;
A facade now the only thing staring back.
Fragility emphasized as the pane shatters.
A persona lost,
A pathetic excuse is smashed;
A terrible reality is left looming,
No substance lies beyond vanity.

What a great picture! I LOVE the mask, I'd like to own one just like it. I love how her eyes peer out of the mask, so real against something not so real. You did a marvelous job on this deviation!

What a great piece of digital art. Though it's called "Emotionless," the mask and eyes, for me at least, don't really hide emotion so much as reveal it. What is 'cracked' is cracked. The hand holding the mask, the eyes looking from it and the colors of the mask itself, including that terrific 'silver lining,' might say more about emotions than not. Either way, it's a great piece. Thank you.

I. Love. This. The colors are great, and the textures are amazing. The mask in itself is beautiful.

beatiful. I love her eyes, their 'real' quality really contrasts with the fake face of the mask.

I really like this piece. It conveys exactly what is most common for people these days - an emotionless mask.

Fantastic picture, it looks as if the mask is part of the model herself. Great work
