historically double bladed axes were not favored for war but i do see potential in it if you forge the blades thin like a dane axe. weight is the main consideration in that cus it needs to be manouvrable but if youd make it light and fast a double blades axe could add to the cutting oportunities

I personally think that double blades are pretty redundant thing.

I've said this before, not to you of course, but on the axe... the hardest thing to define when designing the head vs. the handle is the amount of wood passing through the head. This axe has a sturdy handle and a nice head, but the point where they meet seems weak. In a throwing exercise, the head would or could bust free leaving you with a stick. (Considering I watch variuos other axe designers, you have a better product than most.)
Nice work

I use axes or other self made tools daily, and Im well aware of that thing. Anyway, that one is just soft decorating axe, not meant for throwing or anything else.

Haha, the hooks are cute! I am envisioning these adorning the walls of a kid’s room. Something to keep in mind for when my daughter gets her own room!

Nice looking work as usual, love the double bit axe, and the coat hooks - great idea, never did get the hang of animal heads, I know chisel and a couple round punches just never got away from knives long enough to do them well.

me tehtiin just tollasia koukkuja ekana takotyönä koulussa. ei tosin eläimenpäällisiä. ei ne olleet likikään noin hienoja. eikä olis varmaan vieläkään. kuinkas paljon sulla on ehtinyt kertyä harjoitusta?

Noita koukkuja on tullut taottua sillointällöin, en osaa sanoa montako päätä on tullut tehtyä. Ovat yleensä sellaista nopeasti tehtävää "perussettiä". Voishan tuolla idealla tietysti tehdä monimutkaisempiakin, ja kalliimpia.

I haven't done heads like that in a while. Since I was looking for ideas to use up some cut off pieces ... thanks for the idea.
Great work!
