I'm actually outlining an origin story for Kendra. It will revolve around her time in the Furies, an elite, all-female, military unit. She starts as a talented soldier but soon shows herself to be vicious and sadistic towards her enemies, including civilian targets. This causes issues with her leadership and she goes rogue, becoming a mercenary and pirate.
