I decided recently that I wanted to do a series of everyday beauty - just people doing everyday things that I found aesthetically pleasing. I had an image in my head of a girl sitting on a countertop painting her toenails, but decided to do a quick search for a photo ref. One of the filter options was "contortionist," so I thought, "Hmm, I wonder where this might take me." The first image to pop up was America's Got Talent finalist Sofie Dossi that I think sums up the concept of making the ordinary extraordinary.
