Description
After her scooter was totaled in that accident, Scootaloo decided to build a replacement.

Something new. Something novel, something the likes of which Equestria had never seen. Powered not by her wings, nor by liquid-fuel pocket rockets. Oh, no. A heady cocktail of hydrocarbons with a splash of methanol, forced through 8,300 ccs of big-block V8, the resultant explosions releasing its energy and powering it through seven gears on its way to the rear axle. All fused together beneath a 7000 alloy space frame coated in sheets of aluminum, specially shaped to slice through the air like a hot knife through butter.

This should be fast enough. Someone make the dear a new helmet.

For the NATG Day 8 - draw a pony doing something new. Originally I had no intention of submitting this as part of the NATG (I didn't even know what the topic would be), but you don't see a lot of cars in Equestria, so what the hell.

First time using SAI extensively, so pardon me if I miss out any bits.

Vehicle loosely based off the 1969 Chaparral 2H. Beautiful car, that one.

Done in Gimp 2.8, Photoshop CS4 and SAI 1.1 from a pencil-and-paper outline, with a mouse.

EDIT: Added motion lines to suggest movement.

EDIT: Added more shadows and a pressure wave in front of the nose, as well as numerous minor changes.
