Yo!
I'm using less ink and markers on these... with lighter tones and leads etc
so my colerase (non photo blue, then red-ish), h lead, then 2b for some darker, and/or micron pens (I don't think I used any pens on this one)
I use slate blue and 10 to 40% grays for shading with Prismacolor or Copic markers (along with limited/lighter color tones)

I still need to read your swap note

cool i wonderd why your inks were looking washed out and i didnt know if it was your scanning or what
I've found sharpies dont like my Promarkers, the Promarkers are supposed to resist anything but if you run them over sharpie sometimes they kickup a fuss so i put the colours on THEN use a sharpie for blocking in.... unless i'm in a rush then i just use the promarker black instead of a sharpie

you need to get some Berol Fineliners, their one of the cheapest pens, totally reliable, i draw everything with them and they give top results
