I read that John Cusack was terribly upset when he saw the final version of Better Off Dead. He felt that the director had mislead him and that he was made to look like an idiot. Apparently he has disassociated himself from the film ever sense. This piece was created for the Crazy for Cult show opening this week at Gallery 1988 in LA, California.Related content

Its sad that he doesnt associate himself with this movie. If i was forced to choose my favorite John Cusack movie this would probably be it. oh well, the art work is still very impressive. I feel like my 80s obsession has been fulfilled for the day.

That's awesome. I loved that movie so much, as corny 80's as it was xD. There's actually a guy I know that looks a LOT like John in that movie.

This is an awesome piece of yours, I think it's really funny, I love the characters. I would love if you came back more to your original concepts where your art spoke for itself however (Fish and me, no one has to know, etc...).
