Well, I have seen plenty of beautiful flower photos and this one is definitely on the list. Unfortunately the list is extremely high.

I like the view but maybe you could have taken this at a slightly more angled view. Unless you were going for the straight ahead look. Maybe you could think about getting the flower completely inside the frame.

The contrast is great. Gives a lot more focus to the flower instead of the background. I assume macro mode was used for that.

omg! that's is such a beautiful flower. you definitely picked a good subject to take a picture of. Your a pretty good photographer. ^^

I have to say I do love the colors in this photo. The pinks are a nice contrast to the green background, and good job on the depth of field.
The way the edges of the flower crease over it also add a nice touch.

What I don't like about this shot is the angle you chose. It seems very flat because you shot it dead center right above the flower. It's almost like a passport photo for flowers. Nice but not ideal.
My suggestions: get on level with the flower, as if you were getting at eye level with a person and shoot several different angles. Try making the center of the flower pop out from the petals.

I don't know how much you know about photography, but I am always willing to chat about it.

This is a nice picture, the colors of the flower are very nice but maybe you should try zooming in more but overall it is a quality picture.
