When I saw it, first thing that came to mind; "THAT'S what a star god should look like."

Interesting desing. Most people thinking of Azathoth usually imagine a gigantic beyond measure blob of teeth and tentacles.

Likely because most of the outer gods, including the likes of Shub-Niggurath and Yog-Sothoth are described as being a shifting, formless mass. This is a great image and certainly a unique take on the deity, but it's not fitting with the Lovecraft mythos.
That said, it's still epic and this series of images alone has earned a watch from me for it!

thanks! cosmically epic is exactly what I wanted to achieve. Cthulhu monsters are all about scale and alien god-like power, so its only really limited by imagination. So I went as crazy as possible

thank you!!! it did take some time. Tentacles are a huge pain to draw as it turns out. I mean, they can be sketched pretty fast, but rendering on them takes a while.
