I enjoy this one a lot-- nice, subtle coloring, flowy lines, and great details (like the birds in the background that mimic her own wings, or her harp and book). I think more details/texture would ruin the mood of the piece. Perfect!

i feel that the wings are heavy and lack detail yes, but in eveyr peice of art a detailed wing darws attention, i htink leaivng the wing splain elads the eys to the mysterious beauty of the woman herself and the cureousity of who or what she may be.... just my thoughts

yes, the wings are strangely heavy-looking. is it part of her penance to have to walk rather than fly? knowledge, in the form of the book, might be part of the burden that chains her down. terrific work.

This is so lovely! I love the subtlty of the colours and the softness of the lines. The character itself is fascinating, so creatively conceived. I love the different elements you combined to create this theme, her blindness, the chained book...even the ocean and the birds seem significant. I'm definately adding this among my favorites.

An incredibly interesting characture. However I see a lack of detail work in the wings. But I don't know what esle to say. Its a strange, interesting, and mysterious figure. Perhaps a keeper of secerts, or a cursed woman
