Beautiful golden theme. And the roses on the horse and spear...The knight's worthy of saving a princess from a dragon's grasp!
It's flawless except for a couple minor errors concerning the horse and the rider. First of all, the neck. It's too long for the body. Destriers have short, stocky necks much like a Fresian. Unless it's the armor, the neck is also too thick for the head. And it arches like an Arabian horse. If you wanted that type, not a destrier, the horse's profule has to be visibly dished and the eye more prominent, thinner body and legs, and visible high carriage of the tails. Then there is the rider's legs. The legs are too straight and facing foward. The legs are supposed to be bent, and is straight down to the ground, with the tip of the toes not passing the knee (in other words, it shouldn't be visible when you look down from a horse). Also, the feet are too deep into the stirrup. Only 1/3 of the foot should be in the stirrup. Oh, and the face of the rider. It's too small for the body, and in comparison to the horse's head. Usually the horse's head is equal to about 1 and 1/2 of a human head.
I don't blame you. It's quite true horses are one of the most difficult animals to draw. Me, I've been drawing them for over 3 years now, and I'm still having trouble with the muscles and anatomy, and even more so when I plunk a rider on top. In fact, I'm jealous of you! Even I couldn't draw that in a trillion years!
