Description
This is the first of maybe 2 or more versions I'll make of this cloud setting with the knight on the Braculor facing the dreaded black knight in a duel.This actually started out as a background for my first Dev ID image. I liked the clouds so much that I wanted to turn it into a real piece of art.
Painted over 2 evenings, the original is way larger and might be suitable for large prints if I decide to make a poster out of it.
Ask for permission before using this image for any reason.
Painted in 3 layers, PS6 and a tablet

It's supposed to be like that as they're not really Dragons but Braculors, a race that has much in common with Dragons regarding their looks.

No problem, but I'm curious as to which parts reside in which layers. I'm guessing the background, then the clouds, then the dragons?

All the background in one layer, then the black knight in one, the golden dragon in one and...not really sure but I think I painted the knight in a separate layer aswell

Good god... how do you get the layers so well-meshed? I have GIMP, and the layers would've been hellish for me to do around-the-corner stuff... you know... one leg visible, the other not.

I'm not familiar with Gimp. I'm using Photoshop myself and there You have total control over everything concerning the layers.
