So later this summer I will be a guest a convention in beautiful Traverse City, MI (www.cherrycapitalcon.com). They asked me to do the cover for the program. So here it is. I loved drawing this guy. Guns and a full face mask, what else can you ask for? The background stuff all relates to the Traverse City area.Related content

Is it just me or do comic artists, in general, not know how to draw accurate modern firearms?

Thanks. Its true that a lot of comics artist 'fake' drawing guns. I have done it sometimes, usually due to deadline constraints. But I personally like it when they look more real, or at least look like they COULD be real. But on the other hand it is comics and lots of things get exaggerated and/or stylized, so as long as they look cool I am fine with it.
