hes got the same attitude as my bunny 'smeegle'.....he thinks hes cool, hes a free range rabbit, live in the backyard, could totally see him doing this. hehe. so cute! 0_o

Out of curiosity...what part/parts of the bunny were finished digitally?

reworked the head abit blured the brush marks out
of the bunnys body and put a outline on it as the
photo was a tat burly changed the colour of the
feather
the painting was done off the brush with out a sketch or marking it out in acrylics it pretty close to the pic just needs a final layer then
i went over the background in oils but havent had
time to do character in oils when the the painting is
finshed it will be much tigher than this
sometimes i finsh paintings digitally while the oils are drying as its easier to make small changes quicky

It's very neat. The thing he's riding, (I'm assuming ladybug type creature) reminds me of the racing snail from the Neverending Story. I can't help but stare at the background too. Somehow, I find it very interesting.
