Yes! I finally got my own personal fan character drawn well! [happy dances.]

After a grand total of seven hours, I was able to put this together. Took 2 hours to draw and do basic coloring for Jason himself, another 2 hours to do more advanced coloring on him, then the last three hours to make the background and various effects on him. The background itself was an adventure, as I discovered layer effects. The circle was a bit half-assed, but it still ended up the way I liked it. It doesn't really mean anything, though.

EDIT2, two months later: I ended up getting rid of the white and replacing it with the golden yellow we see a lot in the Ultimate X-Men. The main reason is that despite the fact in my fanfic is in the Evolution setting, the costumes I mainly borrowed from Ultimate X-Men because I preferred those over the Evolution versions. The white would have worked great with the Evolution version, but not so much with the Ultimate versions, so I switched it. Sorry.
