Description
Apparently every May there is something called "Mermay" where artists draw merman or mermaid versions of their OCs or just merfolk in general. I never drew a merman before, but it seemed like a fine time to try.

I decided to not go with a typical take on it where there is a distinct division between the human and fish parts--a la The Little Mermaid--but I also didn't go with a complete blending of the two species as well.
