On Instagram, there's a redraw challenge hosted by @etcetera.art and P-Pen. While I don't need the prizes myself, it seems like a fun way to get myself out there.
As for the art piece itself, I drew the original--attached--around January 2011. It was great to try again using the tools I have now to do a new version. I did end up doing the suit differently mainly because I wanted to get away from the "leotard" look that so many superheroines find themselves in. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm a little bored of it. I also did the suit in black instead of dark blue like it usually is.
My younger brother used to be a big fan of Raven from the Teen Titans show. I don't know if he still is honestly.
The background was a stock image I touched up a lot. Enjoy!
