In honor of the Halloween season I did two paintings inspired by my favorite game series of all time, Silent Hill. Robbie always creeped me out way more than the Donnie Darko rabbit.Acrylic, watercolor and colored pencil

The movement in this work is sublime, i really think this is special stuff. I have never played the game as a kid growing up (but i did see that abysmal film), point is, whether or not the viewer has experienced silent hill is irrelevant as this provides a rather beautiful glimpse into a constructed reality that evokes emotion.
