Description
Jason Momoa saw the earlier version I did of Drogo and asked if I could work this into finished piece, which was fairly easy as it had already been mostly done for HBO, and because you don't say No to Conan.I'll be down in Melbourne Australia at Oz con this weekend along with Momoa and a bunch cool actors, writers and artists. If you're local down under, I'll see you there!

Got the Dany print at DragonCon last year. I think I'll have to pick up this one this year - as a nice companion piece!

Oh my gosh. This is beautiful. I really like the "scratchiness" of the colours. I know that probably doesn't make any sense.
Anyway, this is lovely and I'm going to +fav it.

You were one of my favorite artists, and I was entirely amazed that you reconized me at ECCC this year, considering you probably see thousands of people. But this... omg... you have made my day, and quite possibly became my all time favorite artist. I am absolutely in love with Jason Mamoa and to see him in your artwork is awesome.

Love the horse in the background. Subtle. Nice.

I really like his eyes and the cold, determined look he has on his face. Very Drogo-like.

Nice painting. I really dig the textured background.

Loved his character [Drogo, obviously] in Game of Thrones and wish he could have hung around a little longer. The Conan reprise wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be, though through no fault of his. Just a bad script/story...
Anyway..
This is an excellent rendition, dude. I'm sure he's happy with it.

He was a great Conan. He read the R.E. Howard books and understood the character, the rest of the production ..saw the Arnold version of the movie.

You gotta hand it to Arnold, though. Compare him to the original book covers [by, I think, Frazetta], and it was like they just came to life. Of course his thick-ass accent didn't help much and the scripts for both movies were bordering on camp, but the look was perfect.

Beautiful rendition. This guy was one of my favourite characters in the series. It was a shame to see his demise, but I love the tone and rhythm of the series.
