Well, she looks like freaking Cate Blanchett! I love this.

Kinda hard to make Cate look sinister. Which I suspect should raise the question of why she was cast in this part.

Was this one of the pieces that was rushed, as you said in your journal? If you ask me personally, I think she looks a little more gloomy than dangerous, which is what Cate Blanchett did so well with the character.

I'm no art critic, man. I don't know what it is, but to me, she just doesn't look as sharp or potentially menacing as what Cate could achieve on-screen. Maybe it's the way her hair frames her face with a little less straightness than what was in the movie. And her lips don't look as tight.
