You know what they say, a top-ranking villain would have a minion that is so treacherous that he is going to overthrow him to take his place.Take these two for example.
Darth Vader: Formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, he has turned against the Jedi and becomes Emperor Palpatine's right-hand man. However, he has plans to overthrow him. First, in Revenge of the Sith, he reveals this to his wife Padme, then in The Empire Strikes Back, he reveals this to his son Luke. The Sith's MO is betraying each other, but for his case, it's not the MO but it's just that he doesn't like how Palpatine rules the galaxy.
Vegeta: The survivor of Planet Vegeta, he works as Frieza's enforcer. That is until he arrived on Namek and having plans to get to the Dragon Balls first before him. He plans on using it to get rid of Frieza and rule the galaxy. Well, that is until he ended up turning from bad to good and joins forces with his rival Goku to defeat him.

Sorry butt Vegeta win's. Besides Saiyans are 10 times stronger than sith. Plus they turn into super saiyans, use kamehameha and then boom they win.

You know usually I would be on your side (I like Vader better then Vegeta, though he is also awesome) but once I put my favoritism aside ,I realize that Vegeta is much stronger then Vader so its more likely he would win.Then again Vader would go down swinging or would out think Vegeta Β , so it would be a pretty epic fight

Lets also face the fact that Vader is basically in a life support system (The coolest life support ever but still life support ) and while he is powerful he is weakened slightly since, you know, his limbs were chopped off .he would be facing a prince who is super fast, super strong, can fly , and Β his career for many years was commiting genocide on hundreds of planets Β with the help of his Saiyan buddies Radditz and Nappa (And I mean wiping out the entire planet)

The force may be unlimited but Vader has limits to what he can due thanks to his armor shell surrounding him. This makes him fairly slow but able to take many hits. With his force abilities it gives him range with many things such as choke however he is limited to what he can do. While Vageta has many things going for him, such as very much superior strength, stamina, and speed over a human and human like opponents( more so then the force can grant) if we are talking about near end type characters( limiting Vageta to SSJ2 max) then Vageta wins. After all the ki blasts are not laser blasts they are stronger then that especially from a high level character like Vageta. And the light saber that Vader owns and uses may be able to do some damage to Vageta but lets face it even the swords in DBZ which some can cut through literately everything in the universe still have trouble with the high tier DBZ characters( as well its a form of energy and the characters in dbz have massive energy resistance abilities). Even if Vader could deflect the ki blasts all Vageta would need to use is Big Bang Attack or his other numerous abilities or merely go and use him as a punching bag( do not forget in the world tournament hosted by Hercule he punched the punching device across the courtyard which would decimate the cybernetic limbs that Vader had. In a dbz vs star wars match it does have to go to DBZ for many reason( mainly the casts of dbz are unbalanced to shit and beyond)

Poor Vegeta. Darth Vader is too top tier for him. Vegeta can get all the power in the universe, then find out Darth Vader already had it all. The force is omnipresent and Darth Vader can easily snap a saiyin's neck like a tooth pick, because snapping a human's neck is actually more like and eggshell. For those of you who want to argue this, Vader can deflect concentrated energy from a blaster pistol with his hand, not unlike Trunks did when he first showed up. Truth be told, I'd say even the new enemy Bill would be in trouble versus Vader.

If DV is able to hide his presence, he could set a trap for Vegeta in order to win this one. Otherwise, he is dead after Vegeta says "insect". (Take into a consideration that he obliterated many civilizations in DBZ, and some of them probably had laser guns).Β

Vader is tough and since Vegeta is restricted to ssj2 by death battle regulations he is in for a bit of a brawl but since Vegeta can easily launch attacks while being force choked and is strong enough to nuke planets in ssj1 I still give him the win

Well,I admit Vader would be a tough opponent,but Vegeta's power is insane and he's also incredibly fast. Im not sure if the force choke would work on him.
