"Sometimes, new friends were better than old friends. Adora and Catra were the best of friends as they fought together in the Horde. One day, all of that fell apart when Adora found the Sword of Protection, showing her destiny of becoming the Rebellion's mighty warrior known as She-Ra. She believed the Horde was good, and the Princesses were evil, but she ended up learning how wrong that was. Catra knew all along the Horde was evil, yet she didn't care as she was loyal to the organization 100%. When Adora tried reaching out to her into leaving the Horde, Catra rejected the offer, and that was the beginning of them turning from best friends to worst enemies. But in this universe, Catra accepted the offer. She chose her friendship with Adora over her loyalty to the Horde. With the two of them fighting for the Rebellion alongside their new friends, they have each other to face the unknown together."
