An alternate take on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

"Do you believe in destiny? If so, there are two ways on how you handle it. Either you accept it or defy it. In an attempt to stop her younger brother Marik from obtaining the Egyptian God Cards in which he'll use them for evil, Ishizu Ishtar made a deal with Seto Kaiba to host the Battle City tournament. That lured in the competitors who each had the God Cards; Marik with The Winged Dragon of Ra, Kaiba with Obelisk the Tormentor, and of course Yugi Muto with Slifer the Sky Dragon. In the middle of the tournament, Kaiba went to duel against Ishizu. Being the jerk that he was, he only did her request in hosting the tournament for himself, so that he can duel Yugi again and reclaim his title as the King of Games. Exactly as she predicted through her Millennium Necklace, he summoned Obelisk, but she had a trap ready when he planned on using this card for an attack. She lost this duel the moment he used his trademark monster, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, to defeat her instead all thanks to gaining a vision from the Millennium Rod, wielded by Yami Marik. But in this universe, he never got the vision, making her victory absolute. Looks like the host was out this early, creating a new universe in front of our very eyes."
