That's another reason why I got this idea. I'm in the works of the fanfic of "In Town to Bring Down" (on the the 5th chapter) where the bring-down brigade follow JJ and his new friend to Ponyville to see what they can do to get him feeling like he doesn't belong in any place and wants him gone FOR GOOD so that they can keep the "Popular people are better than others" tradition going for generations
