Description
This was made for an old friend of mine, whom I've subscribed to almost more than a year or two ago.Nevertheless, these were his types of ghost trains that he told from 2020, during the pandemic, and I'm here to show them to you.
The following trains here are just the inspirations of the said vehicles, and no trains were ever harmed into making of the video.
1. Clarice The Ghost Garratt (Sprite by Zephyr4501 )
Description: Sightings of the Ghost Garratt often takes place around the Doncaster Area, in the late summertime. In 1932, Henry Fowler's ghost sent the Ghost Garratt, who is named on a female, "Clarice", to Doncaster Works, spying on his archrival, Nigel Gresley's ghost. Undeterred, he dispatched his team of A4 Pacific Locomotives to destroy the Ghost Garratt. They backed the Ghost Garratt into a corner, and blocked her safety valves with a small piece of tissue paper. The blockage of her safety valves caused Clarice to explode, taking most of Doncaster Works with her.
2. The Locomotive Sent To Cyprus (Sprite by Swiftwin4ds )
Description: In 1915, the superintendent of the Great Eastern Railway needed a new locomotive to bring him a cup of tea every morning. Hence, the LNER Class N7 locomotives were constructed. One miserable day, the N7 dropped a lump of coal into the tea instead of sugar. When the superintendent drank the tea, he turned mad and furious, banishing the locomotive to Cyprus, and never going back to the GER again. When the locomotive was sent there, it turned into nothing more than a rusted statue, becoming a ghost.
3. The Tragic Tale Of A Blind Old Engineer (Sprite by coolkid223YT )
Description: (This kind of train was used in the story) During the 1950s, the engineer was a kind, old man named Cecil. He was blind, that instead of lighting a fire in the locomotive, he lit the coal in the tender by mistake. When the tender melted away entirely, and the locomotive still failed to start, he violently pummeled the controls in frustration, and he died of a heart-attack inside his locomotive due to stress, forgetting to apply the train brake. A few hours later, a strong enough gust of wind blew the locomotive off the rails into a farm, crashing into a ditch, killing a cow as it went.
4. The Upside-Down Railway Experiment Disaster (Sprite by Lightningstudios69 )
Description: (This kind of train was also used in the story) Arthur McPeppercorn, the lesser known brother of Arthur Peppercorn, wanted to outperform his brother, and revolutionize the concept of railways as we now know them. In doing so, he designed and built the world's first upside-down railway, known as the RENL. Same as a normal railway, just upside-down. This particular kind of locomotive was used to test the upside-down railway, and now, it's a ghost. Cause? The upside-down railway experiment failed, and Arthur McPeppercorn was killed in the accident, being removed in the history books.
5. Percy's Punishment (Sprite by Princess-Muffins )
Description: It was a leathery morning, in the Island of Sodor, and Thomas fell into a deep psychosis. He told Percy about some of his hallucinations, and Percy being himself, believed him. He shouted stupidly, "I must try being an airplane!", and he was punished by the ghost gods for being a cretin, becoming a ghost.
6. The Disgrace of a Railway Bus (Sprite by Kaxman5735 )
Description: (This kind of bus was used in the story, but it was on rails) One morning, at Buggersbury Station, the passengers were expecting their usual Pannier tank auto train, when this monstrosity arrived instead. The passengers unanimously agreed not to be seen dead on the bus train, but they decided to fill it with cabbages, freshly picked from the farm. The weight of the cabbages made the bus literally unstoppable, causing it to derail on a curve, flip through 3 fields, crushing a farmer, killing a cat, demolishing a barn, and knocking down a spade. After that accident, buses are stayed buses, trains are stayed trains, and no buses ever dared to disagree that a bus is a train again.
