I've known too many good people imprisoned for a plant that God gave usI cannot stand the rediculous absurdity that marijuana is illegal.
The United States began with George Washington who said "Make the most of the Indian hemp seed, and sow it everywhere!"
I usually don't vote, but I voted for Obama
with high hopes he would be the one to do something about this absurd law.
OBAMA WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
If you really want to pull this country out of this economic slump we're in, the only promising way is to give the American people their freedom
that was promised to them upon the founding of this great nation.
Now I want to point out that President Obama DID stop the federal government from undermining state law in the 13 states where marijuana has been legalized for medicine.
That is a great thing he has done for us,
I just hope the other states catch on soon.

Its really STUPID to punish good people for enjoying such a positive and brilliant plant herb. Especially when we are spending our tax dollars on the same institutions that are imprisoning these people, where as they let murderers just roam free....so screwed up.

Pot DOES kill people. It can give you lung cancer just like smoking cigarettes. And lung cancer KILLS PEOPLE.
Also, remember the Tuscon, Arizona shooting back in 2011. The perpetrator, Jared Lee Loughner, smoked marijuana. He probably killed the brain cells that would have otherwise stopped him from murdering six innocent people, including nine year-old Christina Taylor Green.
