You mentioned that you use illustrator cs, were you using only Blend tools? coz I think using Mesh tool looks much better than using Blend tool.
I think the jacket part looks nice!

Great job, I think that her hair lacks the detail that the clothes have which puts it out of place but overall its a brillian job so a +fav from me.

There are details that can be improved on (e.g. certain parts look flat) but I would say its very good if its your first vector job of a human.
