***SPOILERS FOR THE VERY LAST EQUESTRIA GIRLS SPECIAL***....wow, I just read that last sentence out loud and now I'm sad ;(. I'm actually gonna miss the Equestria Girls shorts. Yeah, they weren't perfect, but they offered a fun new setting getting to see our favorite ponies (And Trixie and Starlight
) as hoomans. Plus, I still say that Sunset Shimmer is one of my all-time favorite characters in the franchise... just wish we could see her return to Equestria more, got to see more about her history..... and got to see how this MAGIC ESCAPING TO EQUESTRIA STORYLINE COULD'VE ENDED!!! T3T now we'll never know, and I'm sad!Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: Since this was more of a compilation of shorts, it's actually kind of hard to properly review this special... most of what I wanna say is kinda already up there with my rant
. I will say that I liked these shorts, just some fun, amusing winter shenanigans with ze hoomans... and things get CRAZY fast! XD. I think my favorite of the shorts was the Pinkie soufflé one because I love seeing Sunset and Pinkie as a duo ^^ (I may lowkey ship them almost like I ship Sunny with Twilight ^w^). I will say two things kinda confused me - so, Sunset was able to see the memories of a snowflake... how?! Also why WAS there a snowball war going on right outside Pinkie's house? Just small potatoes, but overall a fun special... but still sad that this may actually be the last we see ze Equestria Girls 
Bloom-Tazza93 's ACTUAL Thoughts: Honestly, I'm not sure what I can say about the special. It's not bad, but it is friggin' crazy! I'm honestly having trouble finding my favorite part, but I do like seeing Sunny and Pinkie as a duo too. I will say this, I'm glad that they decided to do THIS for an Equestria Girls holiday special instead of adapting the Holiday Special comic from 2014.... that was just bad! Yes, cus nothing says "happy holidays" like spreading nasty rumors and making Sunset cry, right?

Well, there is a comics special coming out in March. That may lead to something.

There's still no confirmation by Hasbro that EqG is over. Just with dHX though. They did an amazing job with FiM and EqG. But we still got EqG comics coming this spring too.

Well, at least there's an Equestria Girls special comic coming in spring. Maybe that can lead to a comic series in the same vein as MLP season 10. I hope so, as Sunset is also my favorite and want to have more with her, or at least a proper conclusion! Great comic and very heartwarming at the end. Merry Christmas!

What is the big deal about Sunset?
ARE YOU KIDDING? She is like one of the best characters in the entire franchise!
I know others think so but obviously i don't.
Ever since the second Equestria Girls film she has been a fan favorite. She has gone through trials and tribulations she has had the most relatable and interesting arcs. She has also helped other the ways she was once helped. She has proven time and again that she has evolved form the boring villain she was when we were first introduced to her.
SHE HAS EVEN EARNED BACK THE RESPECT OF CELESTIA HERSELF!!
How can you say that, that doesn't make her a favorite of yours too?
Because she isn't.
Personally i always proffered Starlight.
