Really wish I say this image while I was reading Mistborn. Far more interesting imagery than what ran through my head.
Nice work.

oh my gosh, I'd seen this online before and loved it, but didn't know who created it. Was drawn to your page by your Vin piece--neat to see you also did this one. Awesome job.

Getting JUST big enough before his skin starts tearing, huh?
Amazing job, my friend.

Just fantastic. Absolutely love the way you handled the texture of the skin and I really, REALLY enjoy the ambient lighting on the torso. The veins in the hand closest to us are really interesting visually. I think this is a really successful piece.

Thanks! There's a slightly bigger version on my blog, but most of the texture detail is really just suggested.

Haha...yeah I thought I'd go with a cauliflower ear, just another small detail to show that he's a fighter.

Very nice. I feel that you overused the textures at some points, but overall this is great.
Read on your blog that you're going to send some illustrations to Wizards of the Coast. Good luck! You are good enough to get the job, so I hope it works out!

Wow, this is pretty impressive! Especially the usage of brushstrokes is outstanding! And I like how you let the concept fairly simple and readable.
