My contest entry!
I've drawn my personal art journey from my first years up to this current time. The gears within the art piece represents "time" within a clock, slowly ticking away as the stream of art slowly moves along as the years go by.

You can tell where I started by looking at the loose splattered paintings that we all did as preschool kids on the highest gear. By the time I was roughly 10 years old, I was introduced to graphite pencils to learn to be more precise and by adding smaller details to my drawings - which is shown on the transition of the second gear. I was obsessed with drawing dragons and animals back then and not so much people. I barely used colour.
The third gear was when I started using colour through traditional media such as pencils and watercolours. But then the gear has some deliberate damages to it from my late teenage years where I stopped drawing for a few years due to drastic health problems which took a while to heal. But after that, I decided to get back to art and was introduced to digital art when I first started university. By then I started drawing more people and less creatures. Here I started to focus more on colour and lighting with my art.

The universe/space area will slowly form a gear in due time... What I will create in the next few years - who knows? I guess I'll see where my art takes me.
