This is just a personal speed painting insight on Link during his adventures. Having the responsibilities of the world on one's shoulder alone is enough to send anyone to spiral into some heavy negative feelings.
This is perhaps a side of him that Nintendo doesn't want us to see, eh?

I like this view. Nintendo should delve into this for at least one of their games, I think. Most of the best hero stories show this sort of situation.

I think it would fit well towards a dark and mature Zelda game, if they make another Majora's Mask/Twilight Princess game in the near future.

I often wonder myself what Link could be thinking with that kind of responsibility, especially when he has tasks like this so suddenly. Sure he says he doesn't mind or goes along with it, but what kind of junk could be going through his head >_> That's what I like about this picture; it shows that side of him (the atmosphere is a plus) AND...it's a speedpaint. How you people do speedpaints this well baffles me O_O

I wonder about it all the time. Link is really quiet, but the thoughts that go on in his head could constantly be screaming at him all the time with the amount of responsibilities that he has to go through. It could be why he's so quiet around other people.
And yeah it's a speed painting (4 - 6 hours). It's a quickie from imagination alone.

I love the atmosphere. I don't exactly recognize the faerie... Looks like Tatl, but it doesn't match with the Link you drew. :\ For some reason I love the rock on the left side. XD

Man, I feel particularly bad for Ocarina!Link. With the time travel and dysphoria of being a kid in an adult's body, then having to go back to being an adult(ish) in a kid's body, and dealing with the most creepy version of ReDeads in the entire series, and Wallmasters, and Dead Hands (TWO), and seeing Hyrule devestated and knowing that it's partially his fault, and that's after a childhood that, at best, would indicate emotional neglect from everyone but Saria... and that's not even including Termina!

Yeah... or he talks to Epona or something. Tatl... maybe not deep-and-meaningfuls, but he's probably glad she's there. Midna... heh, maybe not - I love her to death, but she is a bit abrasive XD Spirit Tracks Link seems to be quite mentally sound since he can talk to Zelda. WW!Link... yeah, who knows. And the Links without companions just have to cope.
