The games are a nightmare to play (or I just suck at them). But I enjoy playing the characters in Super Smash Bros from time to time. Characters that wield swords are awesome~
His design is inspired by his latest appearance in SSB Wii U.

I love how you made him look regal and manly. Most artist tend to just want to make him pretty (though he is that as well). I love how you did his hair. The expression suits him as well.
And I can understand how playing them can be a nightmare, they are an acquired taste xD.
